Good preparation makes a session easier to repeat and reduces avoidable problems. Begin with the operating manual or the clinic’s standard operating procedure. Confirm the recommended distance, doba ošetření, light modes, ventilation requirements, and whether protective eyewear is supplied. Red light therapy beds differ in wavelength mix, ozáření, ovládací prvky, and body position, so a protocol from one model should not automatically be copied to another.
Before the session, remove jewelry, hodinky, and objects that could press into your skin or block the light. Wear clothing that leaves the intended treatment areas exposed, unless the facility specifically instructs you otherwise. If you use skincare products, check the label and follow the provider’s guidance first. Some ingredients can make skin more reactive to light, and a clean, dry surface makes the exposure more predictable.
Do not use a red light therapy bed over an unassessed rash, open wound, active infection, or area that is suddenly painful. If you take medication or have a condition that affects light sensitivity, ask a qualified healthcare professional before your first session. A short intake check is especially important in a professional setting because “red light” is a broad term, while the actual risk depends on the device, dávka, oblast ošetření, and the person using it.
