A capable red light therapy bed factory with unsuitable terms is still a bad supplier.
- Minimum order quantity: Confirm whether MOQ applies per model or per color, and whether it can be staged across releases
- Lead time: Ask for the production lead time separately from the sampling lead time, and ask what happens to both during peak season
- Tooling and IP ownership: Establish in writing who owns the molds, the firmware, and the IP in any custom design work, and what happens to the tooling if the relationship ends
- Exclusivity: If you are investing in a custom platform, negotiate territory or channel exclusivity before the design work begins
- Payment structure: A deposit with balance against documents is normal; full prepayment to a new red light therapy bed supplier is not acceptable
- Warranty and spares: Specify the warranty period, what it covers, who pays freight on replacements, and whether spare LED modules and drivers are available after the model is discontinued
Put all of it in the purchase agreement, not in a chat thread. The terms you can enforce later are the ones that were written down.
