Measure what matters. Use a calibrated power meter to check irradiance at the distance at which users will actually sit, confirm the peak wavelength with a spectrometer rather than trusting the label, and run a full session while logging temperature at the panel surface and at the driver.
Then inspect build quality: panel alignment, fastener torque, cable routing, and seam finish. Check whether the unit rattles or flexes when moved. Operate every control and confirm that the timer, intensity settings, and emergency stop behave as specified.
Finally, ask for the sample’s test record and compare it with your own measurements. A meaningful gap between the supplier’s numbers and yours is a warning about how the supplier tests production units.
