Good after-sales service begins before the equipment leaves the supplier’s facility. The red light therapy bed supplier should provide the information needed to prepare the room, receive the shipment, install the red light therapy bed safely, and put the unit into operation without improvisation.
At minimum, request a pre-installation package that includes the product dimensions, shipping dimensions, net and gross weight, electrical requirements, outlet and circuit guidance, ventilation clearance, floor-loading information, doorway requirements, and environmental limits. If the red light therapy bed uses a lift, charnière, sliding canopy, or actuator, the package should also identify clearance requirements and safe handling points.
The supplier should confirm who is responsible for unloading, moving the equipment into the room, final assembly, electrical connection, and commissioning. These tasks are often confused in quotations. Freight delivery to a building entrance is not the same as inside delivery, and inside delivery is not the same as professional installation.
A useful pre-installation checklist should include:
- Room dimensions and access route confirmed
- Electrical supply checked by a qualified person
- Ventilation and ambient-temperature limits understood
- Floor and wall protection planned
- Delivery appointment and unloading equipment scheduled
- Insurance and damage-reporting procedure agreed
- Installer contact and escalation route identified
If the red light therapy bed supplier cannot explain these points before the sale, the buyer should not assume that the details will be easier after delivery.
